Jim DeMint, SC:

• Homosexuals and unmarried women who sleep with their boyfriend shouldn't be teachers
• Opposes Hate Crimes bill
• Said if we stop Obama’s Health Care, it will be his Waterloo
• Eliminate Dept. of Education
• Resident of "C"Street

Ron Johnson, Wisconsin:

• Testified against Wisconsin Child Victims Act (eliminates the statue of limitations protecting pedophiles)
• Millionaire who owns  $116,000 to $315,000 of BP stock
• Opposes extending unemployment rates, "When you continue to extend unemployment benefits, people really don't have the incentive to go take other jobs. They'll just wait the system out until their benefits run out, then they'll go out and take, probably not as high paying jobs as they'd like to take, but that's really how you have to get back to work. You have to take the work that's available at the wage rates that's available."
• United Steelworkers protested his support for unfair trade policies that ship Wisconsin jobs overseas
• Wants to drill in the Great Lakes
• Johnson criticized the government for forcing BP to set up a compensation fund for victims
• Doesn't believe in climate change
• "Freedom of religion doesn't mean freedom from religion"
• Social Security like a Ponzi scheme 
  

 

Mike Lee, Utah:

• Change the Constitution
• Taxpayers should pay for BP disaster 
• Phase back Social Security
  
• Repeal 14th Amendment - refers to them as "anchor babies
  
• Repeal 17th Amendment (state legislature would elect senators instead of voters) 
• He is an attorney representing EnergySolutions, which wants to import radioactive waste from Italy

 

Joe Miller, Alaska:  Results still undecided 

• Announced he wasn't going to talk to the Alaska media anymore
• His private security guards handcuffed reporter when he tried to ask him questions
  
• Unemployment benefits are unconstitutional
• Social Security and Medicare are unconstitutional
• Privatize Social Security and Medicare  
• Guns at his rallies: "It's not unusual in political rallies"Only agrees with abortion if mother's life is in danger [not in the cases of rape and incest]
• Prays to close abortion clinics
• Repeal 17th Amendment

 

Rand Paul, KY: 

• Wages need to fall to get out of the recession
• Eliminate the Departments of Education and Energy
• Wants $2,000 deductible for Medicare
• Opposes abortion, even in the case of rape or incest
• Repeal 14th amendment (citizen upon birth)
• End Civil Rights Act
  

 

Marco Rubio, FL: 

• Supports offshore oil drilling

 

Pat Toomey, PA:

• “Gun control" is a steady aim
• Eliminate corporate taxes 
  
• Obama doesn't believe in American exceptional-ism
